IHPBA Launches New Research Seed Grant to Support Early Career HPB Surgeons

The International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), through its Early Career Group (ECG) and in collaboration with the IHPBA Research Committee, has launched a new global funding opportunity for emerging HPB surgeons: the IHPBA Early Career Research Seed Grant.

This programme responds to growing demand among early career professionals for support in launching independent research. The grant will provide up to $20,000 in funding over two years to support clinical, basic, or translational projects relevant to HPB surgery. In addition to financial backing, the programme offers mentorship and leadership development designed to prepare surgeons to become future research leaders.
