IHPBA Leadership Welcomed at CCIHPBA Congress in Wuhan

The IHPBA President, Professor René Adam, Past President Dr. Bill Jarnagin, and President Elect, Professor KK Madhavan, recently attended the 9th Congress of the Chinese Chapter IHPBA (CCIHPBA) in Wuhan, where they received an exceptionally warm welcome from Professor XP Chen and the entire CCIHPBA leadership.

During the visit, all three IHPBA leaders were honoured with Advisory Professorships at Huazhong University of Science and Technology—an esteemed recognition that underscores the strong ties between our organisations.

With over 2,000 delegates in attendance, the congress provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and insights in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, and highlighted our shared commitment to advancing surgical standards and patient care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the CCIHPBA for their gracious hospitality and the opportunity to connect with so many esteemed colleagues in China.
